Praise & Glory to our King on His Birthday...

Just a quick note to let everyone know,
Braydon and Mommy are back home today.....
What a journey that was totally unexpected. David and I were out shopping until late Sunday evening. The older children were watching the younger ones and Ali was still in bed sick... About 5:00 am Braydon came to our bed and asked "mommy, can I get in bed with you?" and of course the answer was "yes!" within about 15-30 minutes, I felt him shaking and heard him making a gagging noise. I tried to wake him but was unsuccessful. I yelled for David to wake up. Braydon's lips were blue and he was having a seizure. I know Ali has tried to keep you all informed and up to date.
Test results at this point: CT Scan confirm abnormality of the right frontal lobe of the brain. Similar to a stroke. Basically the frontal lobe did not fully develop due to complications in the womb. EEG shows some unusual patterns that must be looked at further. We will be seeing his neurologist again in a couple weeks to start that process.
For now, they have started Braydon on daily meds that will help control the seizures as well as meds to stop a seizure if another one occurs.
He is very happy to be home and over-joyed to get home and have Christmas with his family.
Keep him in your prayers.
Have a wonderful day celebrating the
birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ!!!!!!!!!!

Update...

Our 'unplanned' Christmas Eve...
some very tired looking kids...=)
At the hospital
Bob's hiding from the Dr.

Tonight Braydon seems to be doing better. He was playing when all of us were there tonight visiting with him. He wanted to come home though. All the attention of the nurse's did not compare with being home with mommy, daddy and his family. It is Christmas Eve, and it seems like "all the kings plans were in his heart, but his every move was the Lords." God simply had better plans for our family this Christmas. Many people have been asking what seems to be the cause of Brady's seizures, and they simply don't know. They have some ideas, but nothing definite. All I keep thinking of is the sovereignty of God and my security in it. It has led me back to Job when God again reminds us that He is in complete control,...even with seizures. Job 38: 4-8 "Where were you when I laid the foundation of the Earth? Tell me if you have understanding. Who determined its measurements- surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? On what were its bases sunk, or who laid its cornerstone, when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy? Or who shut in the sea with doors when it burst out from the womb..." This Christmas day, lets praise God for all that he has done. Even seizures, and the opportunity to be at the Children's hospital on Christmas Eve, praying and praising him for the Greatest gift ever given; The gift of our adoption into the eternal family of God and The King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Thank you for all your prayers!

please be praying...

Everyone, please pray for Braydon!

He woke up this morning(12/24) having
a severe seizure at had to be picked up by an
ambulance. He had seemed to be doing better
at the hospital when he once again had another
seizure. They are doing lots of tests and
blood work on him to see what is the problem
and what is causing them. In the meantime
he will have to stay overnight in the hospital
until results can occur. Please keep him in your
fervent prayers! He can't seem to keep the medicine
down right now, every time they try to give it
he throws up. Tomorrow being Christmas
we are hoping he can come home in the morning...
but please just keep praying for this little guy.
I will keep you all updated as soon as i get the
information myself.
May God bless you all and Merry Christmas!
