Just a quick note to let everyone know,
Braydon and Mommy are back home today.....
What a journey that was totally unexpected. David and I were out shopping until late Sunday evening. The older children were watching the younger ones and Ali was still in bed sick... About 5:00 am Braydon came to our bed and asked "mommy, can I get in bed with you?" and of course the answer was "yes!" within about 15-30 minutes, I felt him shaking and heard him making a gagging noise. I tried to wake him but was unsuccessful. I yelled for David to wake up. Braydon's lips were blue and he was having a seizure. I know Ali has tried to keep you all informed and up to date.
Test results at this point: CT Scan confirm abnormality of the right frontal lobe of the brain. Similar to a stroke. Basically the frontal lobe did not fully develop due to complications in the womb. EEG shows some unusual patterns that must be looked at further. We will be seeing his neurologist again in a couple weeks to start that process.
For now, they have started Braydon on daily meds that will help control the seizures as well as meds to stop a seizure if another one occurs.
He is very happy to be home and over-joyed to get home and have Christmas with his family.
Keep him in your prayers.
Have a wonderful day celebrating the
